Wow, sorry guys! It sure has been a while since I have updated, and boy have we made a lot of changes in that time! When we bought our home last August, I wasn't quite sure what I was going to make of it. I knew the style that I liked, but I wasn't sold on strictly neutral colors. I suppose watching one too many episodes of Fixer Upper make me realize just how cozy and home-y neutral colors truly are. So I started slowly, changing things in our home to be for Farmhouse-esque. Needless to say, I am in love with where our house is currently at, and I have done everything on a budget. We are already outgrowing this home, and I just hope that in a few years when we decide to sell, that someone loves it's farmhouse charm as much as I am right now.
First up, our Farmhouse style mantle. I was able to style this mantle for less than $20, and I absolutely love the simplicity of it. The glass jars are recycled wine jugs. So find a friend that likes wine, and hit them up for their jars! The floral stems I got at Home Goods. The white sticks were $8 and the green stems were $9. This was such an easy project and in my opinion makes a huge statement about our home.
What do you all think about our new mantle?
