I had the hardest time picking a color scheme for my Christmas decor this year. I try to change it up a little bit every year and this year I wanted to do something I had never done before. Thank goodness for Pinterest, I landed on the most gorgeous green and blue Christmas tree and just knew it was perfect for what I was looking for for this years tree!
I started picking up ornaments from several different stores including Hobby Lobby and Walmart. Once I had enough "fancy or decorative" ornaments, I bought a bundle of navy blue balls from Hobby Lobby to top off all my ornaments.
Choosing the right ribbon was the hardest part! I wanted to very different patterns, but also something that paired well together! One thing I learned this year is in order to make the tree look full, cut 12 inch sections of ribbon, and fold them into the tree. It gives your tree a much fuller look and is so much easier to manage!
Another favorite of mine this year were these natural wood nutcrackers from Hobby Lobby. They were $2.50 each and such a steal! The natural wood color turned out so well with the greens and blues in my tree! You can find them in the Christmas craft section of Hobby Lobby!
& Let's not forget that Merry Christmas banner that makes the tree! Such a fun statement piece and definitely helps add to the pizzaz of the tree itself!
I hope this helped inspire you to get your Christmas decorations out and enjoy the holidays!
