Fall Front Porch

Some people will say that Christmas time is the most wonderful time of the year. I however, absolutely love fall and Halloween! It is September 8th and we have already watched Hocus Pocus twice! So naturally my fall and Halloween decor had to go up as well. Today I want to share our fall and Halloween porch decor with you!

One of my favorite things to do to both save money and get the look I want, is to mix real and faux pumpkins. I know it sounds crazy, but pumpkins can get expensive, especially when you need a lot of them.  So each year I try to buy a few faux pumpkins so that I can build my stash up. Then I can use them year after year,  but still mix in a few real ones as well. The best place I have found to buy faux pumpkins for cheap is Kroger! Seriously, when they have a 50% off sale on their fall decor, stock up on their faux pumpkins!

Also, shop your local resell pages! You can find a ton of goodies there from people cleaning out their garage or changing up their decor. I got the large spiders and skeleton off a yard sale page for super cheap!

Also let's talk about mums.  Until this year I was ignorant when it came to mums. I used to always purchase them from big box stores because they were usually the first ones to sell them. But guys, shop your local farmers instead.  Their mums are beautiful, bigger, and cheaper! Also they have ALL the goods such as ornamental kale, corn stalks, pumpkins and gourds so it is a one stop shop!

My wreath is one I made using a faux boxwood wreath I got from Marshall's and a sign from the Target Dollar Spot! The witch hats I purchased at a local party store, but did see some at the Dollar Tree for much cheaper! My lantern's are from Walmart, and the super cute Halloween scroll sign is by Mud Pie!

This year's porch is my favorite I have done so far! Stay tuned for a peek at my back porch that also got decorated this year.
