I feel like I blink and BAM the weekend is gone! That's one thing I miss so much about being a stay-at-home mom was feeling like everyday was the weekend and never being in a hurry to be anywhere. Two days off just is not near enough to get everything done ya know!
I did a little cleaning and re-arranging in the playroom/office this weekend! I have big plans for creating myself an office space I love but in the meantime I am just glad I have a place to put my stuff!
I hope you all had an amazing weekend!

I also found this daybed on a re-sell page and I have been eyeing it for YEARS at World Market. I couldn't pass up the deal I got on it and knew it would be perfect for a guest bed and sofa for the playroom. Also that throw is my new favorite! One of our local furniture stores is moving so they were having a mega sale on all of their inventory! When I saw that throw I knew it would be perfect for this room! Also check out those adorable new prints I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby! I love when they mark a ton of their stuff down to 75% off!
And it wouldn't be a weekend without some excitement. Dixie is our youngest dog but about 6 months or so ago we started noticing something wrong with her eyes. At first we thought it was just allergies but they kept getting worse and worse. So in March we took her to the vet and they told us that she had a chronic infection in her eyes and put her on some drops to help. Needless to say...2 months later, they only looked worse so we took her back again. This time they did a dye in her eye and could see where blood was pooling in her retina. So they gave us new drops and a gel to use for a week and then we had to return. So Friday we took her back for a followup and got put on even more drops and medication. We literally have to put drops of her blood mixed with a serum into her eyes 4 times a day. BUT the good news is I can finally say I am starting to see an improvement and I am just hoping this was the right treatment for her. No one knows how or why her eyes started doing this. If this doesn't work, we will have to go see a veterinary ophthalmologist and lord knows my wallet is not ready for that.
