Phew what a weekend! To say we were busy was an understatement. We got so many projects done this weekend that we have been wanting to do for forever but just never got around to them. Even though we are both still working full time, just not being able to go anywhere when we are at home, has really given us the motivation to work around the house.
1. Large porch Swing hung
A full tutorial on how we hung this bad boy is coming soon but I couldn't wait to share the finished product with you all! I have literally had the swing sitting in the garage for almost a year and just never found the time to finish painting and hanging it until now.
2. Update railing on back porch
Another project that literally took 30 minutes to do but I just never wanted to get up and do it. It's amazing the difference a coat of paint can do. This project was free because I already had the paint to do it!

3. Add wainscoting to hall-way backpack area
Another project that was practically free. I had the wood leftover from another project, the paint is my go to white paint (Alabaster by SW) and I always have it on hand. I love how much character it helps to add to their little hallway! Best part it took less than 2 hours to start and finish!
Needless to say we rocked it this weekend with house projects so I am kind of looking forward to getting back to work and getting a break from the paint brush! Who else has been doing projects around the house lately?
