DIY Spring Wreath

Hi everyone! Holy smokes it has been a minute! I realize I have not posted in a long, long time and boy do I have some updates for you.

I am going to try (try being a key word) to be better about doing blog posts at least once a week. I love sharing things on here, free time for me is just so few and far between so it makes it difficult.

So to get back into the swing of things, I wanted to share with you my DIY spring wreath that I made from items at the Dollar Tree. Seriously, the whole thing cost $13 and took less than 30 minutes to do, and it majorly helped me scratch my spring decorating itch on a budget.

To get started I bought 1 metal wreath form, 2 rolls of pink burlap ribbon, and 11 Crocus stems for a total of $13+ tax. I decided to go with a pinkish purple color for the stems but they had yellow, pink, purple, red. So many colors to choose from based on the look you're going for!

I took the burlap ribbon and wrapped the entire wreath form. Be sure to overlap your wraps to create little "pockets" because you will use these to hold your flowers. I also used hot glue to glue the ribbon to the wreath form so it would hold tight.

Once its completely wrapped I took my 11 Crocus stems and cut each individual stem off of the one large stem. I then took each little stem and began stuffing it into the pockets created by the burlap. I went completely around the wreath. I then took my leftover stems and began filling in the gaps by using the holes in the burlap ribbon to stuff stems into. Basically just keep sticking stems until you are happy with the look.

Once this is done hang it on your door and voila! Instant spring decor!

Seriously the easiest DIY ever. I wanted a bright, colorful wreath but I wasn't about to spend $40-$50 for one. So this worked out perfect!

Let me know if you make one I would love to see how it turns out!
