This was our second year going to one of our local churches trunk or treat and it has been so fun both years! Unfortunately, this year, Gunner man was sick so we didn't get to stay very long, and I wasn't able to take many pictures as I was having to pack him the whole time!
But alas we made it and Ainsley had a blast! She was an LOL Surprise Doll (if you don't know what is consider yourself lucky, as we have spent a small fortune on all things LOL), and Gunner was his favorite thing ever, Elmo!
We also got to have an early visit with SANTA! Of Course Gunner wanted no part in getting near him, but I consider it a win because this was the first time in FOUR years that Ainsley has agreed to sit on the mans lap.
Overall, we still had a great time for the short amount of time we were there and the kids absolutely loaded up! They had easily 20 full size things of candy! Since when do people give out such good candy?
I also saw the BEST costumer ever while we were there and I am so sad I didn't get a picture. It was a little girl dressed up like the girl pig in the movie Sing. She was wearing her black outfit that she wears at her final performance and had a pig nose. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen, and definitely gave me ideas for a DIY costume for next year!
It is supposed to be really nasty here tomorrow night (Halloween) So I am not sure if the kids will make it out trick or treating tomorrow (they both currently have viruses), so I am so thankful churches put things like this on so that kids can enjoy the fun!
