I have a love hate relationship with our entry-way. I love it because I love the fact that we have one. I hate it because it is awkward, and it's small, and if I want it to be an "entryway" we really can't use our front door. But because I love it so much more than I hate it, we are using it as an "entryway"anyways.
Let me show you what we started with...
A plain jane tan front door, with a measly little mirror on the wall.
Then we upgraded a little bit to a pretty red front door, but still nothing exciting on the wall...
While I loved our red door, it started leaking when it would rain, which led to some of our wood floors warping, so we decided to invest in a new craftsman style door, which I decided to paint grey. I will do a post about the door, soon, but for now, I just want to share our completed "entryway". Yes we can still come in through the front door, but the door doesn't open all the way so we typically use our side door. But besides that little issue, I love love love how our entryway turned out and I think it added so much character to our home.
