I think I have said this a couple of times before but, I am trying really hard to turn our ranch style home into a farmhouse without the farm. I have spent hours on Pinterest looking for the easiest ways to achieve the modern farmhouse look, and most importantly, achieving it on a budget.
While I was in Target a few weeks ago, my eye caught a glimpse of the most perfect farmhouse lights. To make them even better they were plug in lights, so no need to hardwire! The only problem was I had no clue where to put them. Flash forward a few weeks, I came across an inspiration photo and it dawned on me, I NEEDED THOSE LIGHTS. Incase you want to become obsessed with them yourself, you can see them here. Once I went back to the store to decide on a color, I knew they were just perfect for my master bedroom. Our bedroom has been the one place that has honestly been neglected the most when it comes to decor. The only pieces of furniture in the room that matches are our nightstands, we are currently using a dresser from a nursery collection, and I am using a teeny tiny side table as my computer desk. Basically, it's just not that cute. So I needed these lights to start bringing the room together.
This room is definitely still a work in progress but I sure do love the direction it is heading!
