I get wild hairs to change our decor around...ALOT. This week I took a couple days of vacation, and while we got to have lots of fun, it also gave me some time to work on our home as well. One of the rooms I brought some new life to was our dining room. I loved it before, but it still needed some oomph to really give it that farmhouse look.
I think I am still in shock and awe that I scored that chandelier for $20 at home depot and that C was able to install it without hurting himself or someone else in the process. My very own real life Chip Gaines I tell ya ;)
The map print and frame I scored at a yardsale for $5. I love the farmhouse feel that it brings to the room, but isn't super over-powering at the same time.
I did a post a few weeks back on my centerpieces, but all they are are recycled wine jugs with greenery from Home Goods placed in them. I love how they look and are so versatile you can use them in almost any room in the home.
